January/February on The Blog: Where have you been?

cropped-blog-harder-slim.jpegI know, it has been over a good month or so since I’ve last posted on The Blog. No, I didn’t forget about you guys. I’ve just been working away at some other projects.

Anyway, as always, I have some new things planned for the site. Some stuff you’ll see pretty soon; other things will take some time to roll out.

One of the first things you should check out is the updated What To Watch. I’ve swapped in a bunch of mid-season replacements onto the schedules and some first impressions of new series.

Also new on The Blog, I have a piece on the state of traditional TV, and things are far from rosy.

Next up, the ratings posts I typically do are going to go under an overhaul. Keep an eye out for those.

I also have a new instalment of Commercial Breakdown in the works as well as a lengthy post on the Apple Watch coming up as well.

But I know what you’ve been thinking; you’re all probably wondering what I’ve been doing for the past few weeks. (I know you’re not, but I’ll tell you anyway.) Well, there has been a number of things. I’ve been helping CBC with researching for a doc (more info on that later), and I’ve also started to write for Yahoo News Canada. Keep an eye out for my stuff there. Those projects aren’t a lot like anything you’d find on the site, but they’re interesting nonetheless. If you ever want to check out some of my other work, I’m planning on keeping a page on The Blog where you can keep tabs on some of the other stuff I produce or assist with.

That’s it for now, but I better get cracking. I have a lot of things in store for The Blog.
