TSN is bringing Canadians more coverage of the IIHF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP than ever before, broadcasting 58 tournament games from May 1-17, live from the Czech Republic. More than doubling the number of games that were broadcast last year, TSN’s coverage marks a record number of IIHF World Championship games to be ever broadcast in Canada. Coverage begins with Canada vs. Latvia on Friday (May 1) at 10 a.m. ET on TSN and TSN GO (click here or see below for complete broadcast schedule).

TSN complements its live coverage with same-day encore presentations of all Team Canada games in primetime. TSN subscribers can also access live streaming and on demand coverage of the network’s exclusive live coverage of the IIHF World Championship through TSN GO.

Two-time Olympic gold medallist Sidney Crosby leads a star-studded Team Canada forward group that includes Tyler Seguin, Claude Giroux, Matt Duchene, Taylor Hall, Jordan Eberle, and Nathan MacKinnon and defencemen Aaron Ekblad and Dan Hamhuis. They take the ice against a slate of international superstars including Jaromir Jagr returning home to play for Czech Republic, defending IIHF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP gold medallist Russia’s Evgeni Malkin and Vladimir Tarasenko, and USA’s young star and projected top draft pick Jack Eichel.
