Press Release: TSN is Home to Every Game of the Toronto Raptors’ NBA PLAYOFFS Run, Beginning April 18 at 12 noon ET

TORONTO (April 16, 2015) – After recording the winningest season in franchise history, the Toronto Raptors have returned to the NBA PLAYOFFS. TSN is the exclusive home of every game of their playoff run, beginning with the Raptors’ First Round series against the Washington Wizards.

TSN’s exclusive live coverage tips off this Saturday (April 18) at 12 noon ET with a 30-minute pre-game show followed by Game 1: Washington @ Toronto live on TSN and TSN GO. TSN Radio 1050 in Toronto also delivers live coverage of Game 1, beginning with an extensive 90-minute pre-game show at 11 a.m. ET (see below for more details on TSN 1050’s coverage of the Raptors).

Broadcast Schedule

The broadcast schedule for the Toronto Raptors-Washington Wizards series is as follows*:

  • Game 1: Washington @ Toronto – Saturday, April 18 at 12 p.m. ET on TSN, TSN GO, and TSN Radio 1050
  • Game 2: Washington @ Toronto – Tuesday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m. ET on TSN, TSN GO, and TSN Radio 1050
  • Game 3: Toronto @ Washington – Friday, April 24 at 7:30 p.m. ET on TSN, TSN GO, and TSN Radio 1050
  • Game 4: Toronto @ Washington – Sunday, April 26 at 6:30 p.m. ET on TSN and TSN GO
  • **Game 5: Washington @ Toronto – Wednesday, April 29 at TBD
  • **Game 6: Toronto @ Washington – Friday, May 1 at TBD
  • **Game 7: Washington @ Toronto – Sunday, May 3 at TBD

TSN will announce additional live coverage of the NBA PLAYOFFS in the coming days. The network’s postseason coverage also includes the NBA FINALS. TSN’s entire slate of games from the NBA PLAYOFFS is also available for live streaming and on-demand viewing to TSN subscribers through TSN GO.

Broadcast Team

Calling all Raptors playoff games is the dynamic duo of play-by-play commentator Matt Devlin and game analyst Jack “The Coach” Armstrong. Also on-site for TSN’s coverage of the Raptors are NBA ON TSN host Rod Black alongside analysts Leo Rautins and Morris “Mo Pete” Peterson.

TSN’s own Cabral “Cabbie” Richards joins the network’s home game broadcasts, reporting live from the Ford Fan Zone at Maple Leaf Square to capture fan reaction during pre-game shows. As well, road games feature contributions from former Raptors head coach and current Minnesota Timberwolves assistant Sam Mitchell.
