TORONTO (February 24, 2015) – CTV and The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) announced today that Jacob Hoggard, lead singer of the JUNO Award-winning band Hedley, is set to host THE 2015 JUNO AWARDS broadcast on CTV and CTV GO from Hamilton’s FirstOntario Centre on Sunday, March 15, live at 7 p.m. (8 p.m. AT) (check local listings to confirm broadcast times). Pulling double-duty as host and performer, Hoggard – also nominated for three JUNO Awards this year – brings his explosive energy and no-holds-barred attitude to the stage for Canada’s biggest night in music, proving that he really can do ‘anything.’

“Jacob’s career has skyrocketed over the last decade, and it is an absolute honour for CTV to work with him again as host of THE 2015 JUNO AWARDS,” said Phil King, President, CTV, Sports and Entertainment Programming. “Jacob brings boundless energy and amazing charm and charisma, along with a loyal following of fans, to his role as host of Canada’s biggest night of music.”

“It’s been wonderful to watch Jacob grow from an energetic hellion 10 years ago into a gifted songwriter and one of Canada’s top frontmen,” said Allan Reid, President & CEO CARAS, The JUNO Awards and MusiCounts. “I can’t wait to see what he has in store for us all in Hamilton.”
