Canadian TV Ratings: January 26-February 1, 2015

While it may be old news that the Super Bowl garnered over 8.2 million viewers on Feb. 1 to become the nation’s most-watched Super Bowl ever, Numeris‘ final numbers reveal that both lead-out shows, MasterChef Canada and The Blacklist, saw some decent jumps from their preliminary numbers. If your memory is fuzzy, a CTV press release said that MasterChef Canada attracted 1.3 million viewers, while The Blacklist saw only 929,000 tune in according to the Numeris overnight preliminary numbers; however, according to Numeris‘ final numbers, MasterChef Canada saw 1,569,000 tune in while 1,367,000 watched The Blacklist. Those numbers still have to be disappointing as they were only the 15th and 21st most-watched programs of the week, respectively.

Elsewhere during the week, the CBC continued to do well ratings-wise. Actually, the CBC did so well that Murdoch Mysteries managed to make it onto Monday’s chart below. (I know. I was pretty shocked as well.)

CTV dominated Tuesday thanks to The Flash, Agent Carter and CSI. You could say the same for Thursday as The Big Bang Theory drew over 4.3 million viewers and nearly two million watched How To Get Away With Murder.
