Canadian TV Ratings [Sports]: December 5-7, 2014

The Buffalo Bills helped CTV crush City’s Hometown Hockey on Sunday (logo via Wikimedia)

With the CFL now out of the mix, the NFL easily took Sunday. CTV’s broadcast of the Seahawks/Eagles and Bills/Broncos games drew 922,000 to the network. Another assortment of NFL games also brought 614,000 to CTV on Sunday as well.

However, the NFL wasn’t the only thing Canadians were going crazy for on Sunday. City’s Hometown Hockey featuring the Canucks and the Senators drew a healthy 726,000. That’s not bad considering that Hockey Night in Canada lost 250,000 viewers from last week.
Over on Friday, the Raptors managed to bring 394,000 viewers to TSN, and they handily topped the day’s Canada Cup coverage.
