Canadian TV Ratings [Sports]: August 22-24, 2014

This week’s top match was the Roughriders againstthe BC Lions of course.

As with last weekend, this weekend’s top match was a CFL game (Lions vs. the Roughriders); however the top match this week drew over 20,000 more viewers, which took this week’s top game just past the million viewer mark.

While the CFL saw a decent rise, the Jays are still sliding. Friday, Saturday and Sunday’s matches all fell when compared to games on their respective nights last week.

The bad news for the Jays and Sportsnet might continue if TSN’s extra feeds are as successful as they hope. This weekend will be the first for TSN1, TSN3, TSN4 and TSN5, so we’ll get those ratings next week and see how they do.

However, I’m not sure how Numeris will tackle the new feeds though, particularly when it comes to the US Open coverage. Perhaps they’ll break them down by channel as they’re airing different matches or they might consider it one unified broadcast.

Anyway, while that plays out check out the ratings I have below and for even more check out the source link below.
