TORONTO (June 17, 2014) – In the small village of Pomquet, Nova Scotia, there are more animals than people. Although they try to live harmoniously together, it’s not always possible. So when conflict between wildlife and community collide, the local townspeople call in the most reliable, likeable, and unconventional group of fellas to handle the problem – the BEAVER BROTHERS. Premiering back-to-back Monday, July 7 at 8 and 8:30 p.m. ET / 9 and 9:30 p.m. PT on Animal Planet, siblings Charlie and Eddie Landry, along with their young protégé Mike MacIsaac, are the town heroes…but don’t tell that to the animals that co-exist in this town near Halifax. From homes flooded by beaver dams and family dogs terrorized by skunks, to garbage-eating raccoons and barns inhabited by moose – there is never a shortage of pestilent problems in this new 10-part series.
The BEAVER BROTHERS are never afraid to get their hands dirty and dive right into action, as these rugged Canadian woodsmen are on a mission to control local animal nuisances. Other non-human residents include porcupines, muskrats, bats, ground hogs, ferrets, squirrels, and pigs.
Highlights from BEAVER BROTHERS include:
