CMT is debuting their new series Mom’s a Medium on Friday because when you think country music, you think middle-aged psychics. This week also sees the season/series premieres of British shows The Escape Artist and Misfits (finally).

|Masterpiece Mystery!: The Escape Artist||—||Sunday 9 PM||PBS|
|Siberian Cut||Russian Roulette||Monday 10 PM||Discovery|

|Mom’s a Medium||Visited by Spirits and Grandma||Friday 9 PM||CMT|
Since CTV is simulcasting the MMVAs (for whatever reason), you get two opportunities to catch the finale of Believe on Sunday night. You have your pick of 8 PM on CTV or 9 PM on NBC (of course if your cable or satellite package includes timeshifting you likely have a few more opportunities to catch it as well). Sunday also sees the end of The Big C (or since it pulled a Hannah Montana and/or Jonas and renamed the last season, it’s technically The Big C: Hereafter). Too bad it airs on a channel few people have heard of and even fewer people actually subscribe to.
|Show||Episode Title||Day and Time||Network(s)|
|Believe||Second Chance||Sunday 8 PM||CTV|
|Believe||Second Chance||Sunday 9 PM||NBC|
|The Big C: Hereafter||The Finale||Sunday 10 PM||Super Channel 1|
|Independent Lens||The New Black||Sunday 10:30 PM||PBS|
|Orphan Black||By Means Which Have Never Yet Been Tried||Saturday 9 PM||Space|

Awards this year include funniest Simpsons rerun, least interesting Conan guest and most evasive way to claim what we’re airing is “music.”
Thursday 8 PM
Cedric the Entertainer hosts this award show that no one gives a damn about on a network no one couldn’t care less about.
SportsCentre Top 10 Presents: Top NBA Players of Today
Friday 8 PM
Here’s some filler programming TSN decided to throw before an NBA game. You might as well watch it now before they rerun it until the tape bursts into flames.
2013 Grey Cup
Saturday 7 PM
For some strange reason, TSN2 is reairing last November’s Grey Cup. If last week’s random Kevin Costner movie wasn’t enough of a reason to make you question why we need five TSNs in September this should.
